All at Sea
Does today’s art create realities?
How do artists question reality when references fade, how does the artistic mode of cognition deal with being at sea? As a program All at Sea offers a method to record the effects and the results in art processes over time.
As a project All at Sea centers around taking artists to sea on a circumnavigation, exposing them to a space free of references. If the artistic mind can sustain itself in this unvaried manifestation of the real world, it is still capable of creating realities.
As a growing collection of artwork, All at Sea pursues collaborations with artists in relation to the initial artistic discourse of this project, Sail Against the End, which questions the idea of representation in art today.
